Easter Morning

The kids were ssooo excited for Easter. When they woke up the Easter Bunny had left clues and sent them on a scavenger hunt to find their baskets. He also spoiled them with some blow up swimming pools to spend the Summer in. Haylee was so cute she said, "Now we have a pool like Marty's!!" (Our next door neighbor has been building an amazing pool in their backyard). I said ya, ours is ALMOST as cool as Marty's!! It was so funny. They ate candy and chocolate all morning and Kynlee was SO awful in church!! But hey, what did we expect loading her up on candy like that? It was such a fun morning. It's mornings like this that you wish time could stand still!! I gave them each a little picture of Jesus and talked about what Easter was really about. Braxton was cute, he brought his picture to church in his shirt pocket and kept looking at it all through Sacrament Meeting. Such precious little kids!! We love them so much!!

Weekend with Bailey

We got to have our niece Bailey spend the weekend with us and had such a great time. She is so cute with our kids and we just love her so much. I stayed up late with her one night watching a bunch of American Idol clips, laughing and having fun. Our kids can't get enough of her and even Beau liked her. What a sweetheart she is. We found this great park that we had a blast at. It has so many weird little futuristic looking things. Our kids loved it!!

Haylee's Birthday

So to start off Haylee's 4th Birthday we went to support little Braxton at his soccer game. He had a great game and the girls had a great time cheering him on and playing on the slides with their amazing big sister Maycee.

One of Haylee's favorite places is Jumpin' Jacks. They have about 10 inflatable slides and bounce houses. The kids had a blast. I am still amazed that Haylee and McKynlee go on the huge slides by themselves without even batting an eye. They are brave little things. Bob and his family met us there along with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids loved playing with cousins and showing off for Grandma and Pa.

We finished the day with a barbecue back at the house. Mark's the barbecue master and he didn't disappoint with some great steaks! Haylee was going crazy to open her presents she thought that part would never come. She got a leapster2, a Tinkerbell dress-up and a few games. She was so excited. Grandma spoiled her with some adorable clothes that she modeled for everyone and loved every minute of it. Happy Birthday Haylee!! We love you so much. You are such a special little girl, and me and your Dad feel SSOOO lucky to have you in our family. You always make us laugh and keep us on our toes with your sassy little comments. You are such a little diva and you KNOW it!! But, that's what we love about you!!

Haylee's Haircut

O.K. so last year for Haylee's birthday she wanted her ears pierced. This year she wanted a haircut!! But not one of those trim jobs mom does in the bathroom....she wanted to go to a salon. She also didn't want a trim, she wanted her hair SHORT. So needless to say we have been putting this off for awhile since her hair goes all the way to her butt when it's wet. I trimmed her hair a few months ago to try and appease her, but she's no dummy and she kept going on and on about it. So, we took her in last Tuesday for her first official "hair cut". Josie was so cute with her and we used a little bit of trickery to show her how much hair we cut off and how short it was!! It worked and she still has plenty of hair and looks as beautiful as ever. She giggled the whole time she was getting her hair washed because it tickled. She is so dang cute!! She just kept saying, "My hair is cuter than anybody's..right mom?" Well, of course it is!!
