Summer Fun

Who knew cleaning the trampoline could be so much fun. Give them a hose and some soap and they can play/clean for hours.

Emerald Pools

We found a really cool hike at Zions this Summer. It was a 3 mile hike. Perfect for the little kiddies. We only had to carry Haylee and McKynlee a little bit. The water was freezing but it felt good because it was so hot outside!!

Hawaii "Finally"

I can't believe this was a whole year ago...it seems like yesterday. Mark and I have talked about going to Hawaii ever since we got married and with the help of Eric and KeeLee we actually stopped talking about it and made it happen. It was the best trip I've ever had. We missed the kids like crazy but we had experiences I will remember forever!! It was seriously PERFECT. Besides the stress of almost missing our flight the trip was flawless, amazing, and literally a dream come true. I can't wait to someday go back with our kids next time. Here's hoping :)

Braxton's 7th Birthday

Braxton's birthday always falls on Memorial Day Weekend so he always has a great birthday...but usually not a friend birthday party. So this year we decided to change that. He and his friends went to a movie "How To Train Your Dragon" and then had ice cream at Arctic Circle. He was so excited. We love him so much and he is growing up so fast. Happy Birthday Braxton

Haylee's Birthday

On April 4th Haylee turned 5!!! She is getting so big. It was a really fun year this year because her birthday ended up being on Easter. She thought that was pretty cool. We got to go to Easter Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's and then she had a friend party at Jumpin' Jacks a few days later. She was adorable. She wanted a Webkinz so bad...so she was so excited when she got Grapy!!
It seems like yesterday that we brought little Haylee home. She was the best baby ever. She NEVER cried. I'm not even kidding. She is still a very happy girl, although she is a lot more emotional than she used to be :) She is becoming quite the little gymnast, a great reader, and a great friend. Every day she comes home saying that lots of friends want to play with her today! Oh what a dilemma. Happy Birthday Haylee we love you!!!

Valley of Fire

We drive to Vegas all of the time and see the sign that says Valley of Fire. Well, we finally went there last April and man have we been missing out. We went with Mark's family and hiked all over and had a blast.

Spring Break 2010

Grandma and Grandpa always manage to hook us up with a place to stay when we need it. We went and stayed in Vegas and had such a great time at the pool.

Spring Break

Our friends invited us to Vegas with them for our Spring Break. Even though it was a little cool we hung out at the pool and went bowling. It was fun to just get away!!

Hoover Dam

In February we went to Vegas with some friends and met up with Grandma and Grandpa. We went to Hoover Dam. They are building the most amazing road over it. The kids thought that was so cool. They were making us so nervous running around and hanging over the edge. But overall, it was really fun.

Easter and Egg Hunt

I'm plugging along...now I'm only 9 months behind :) At this rate I'll be caught up sometime next year. Every year our ward does an Easter Egg Hunt at the park. The hunt only lasts a few minutes, but the kids love playing at the park with all of their friends

We had such a great Easter. The Easter Bunny always sends the kids on a treasure hunt to find their baskets. They love it!! This year one of the clues was by "Mommy's Pooh Pooh Can". The kids thought that was hilarious.....me not so much. If I ever see the Easter Bunny we will have to have a little chat!

Track Meet

In March Maycee had her first track meet. She did the 200 yard dash and the 800m. It was funny to see her nervous...she is usually so confident about everything. We had a great time watching her and she did a great job!!

Getaway

Posted by Picasa

We decided to go on a quick vacation and stay at a hotel so they could swim and then we went tubing at a ski resort. Our kids were in heaven. They LOVE the snow..go figure. They loved tubing especially the part where you don't actually have to walk up the hill afterwards.

Basketball Season

I love this time of year because I love watching Maycee and her Dad. Mark is so cute with the girls, and Maycee is SO proud that her Dad is the coach. Their team is SHOCK. They only lost to one team all season. They had 6:00 a.m. practice on Monday mornings. Maycee loved basketball so much she never even complained about that. Now that's pretty amazing!! She is a great little baller!! We loved watching her play. I'm so behind with blogging that we are already approaching basketball season again next month.

Maycee's Birthday

Alright, I know this was almost a year ago...but life has been a little crazy!! I have kindof fallen off the blog wagon but I guess I need to start somewhere. So I will be very behind for awhile but eventually I'll get caught up.
Well, January 5th Maycee turned 9. I still can't believe she is that old. It was a great day. We brought lunch to her school and ate in the cafeteria with her. That night we went to Brick Oven Pizza with Grandma and Grandpa because she likes their broccoli cheese soup. Go figure!!! She had been bugging me like crazy for the Twilight book. I finally gave in and said I would read it with her. The funny thing is that was 10 months ago and we are only on Chapter 5.

We love you Maycee. You are such a sweet, mature, funny, amazing girl.
