Baseball Days
We have had such a fun few weeks. Baseball has started and Maycee and Braxton are playing. They are so excited about it and are having a great time. Maycee is the only girl on her team. She was a little worried the first practice because none of the boys wanted to play catch with her. But, as soon as they realized that she was as good if not better than a lot of them they have decided it's not so bad having a girl on their team. She loves it!! Braxton hit a homerun at his first practice and loves sliding into home. He is so dang cute!! So, needless to say our new favorite pass-time is playing catch with the kids. Braxton has got quite the arm and Maycee loves to catch the fly-balls.
Mother's Day
I had such a special Mother's Day this year. The kids are at such an adorable age. They tried so hard to make it a special day. I woke up with breakfast in bed. With Mark's help it wasn't Shredded Wheat and water this year :) I got eggs, waffles, and bacon!! The kids had made cute little cards and colored pictures at school and they had surprised me with flowers the day before. Mark made dinner and we ate out on the patio, had cartwheel contests, and played some catch. It was such a great day!! I love my husband and kids more than I could ever say. It's days like this that remind you what's really important in life!! I'm the luckiest mom in the world!!
Piano Recital
The day after the Talent Show was Maycee's Piano Recital. Two performances in two days...talk about her best week ever!! She played "Caravan". It was kindof an Egyptian sounding song that she picked out. I couldn't believe how hard it was. It had notes all over the piano. Her little bum had to keep sliding from one spot to the next so that she could reach the notes. I need to figure out how to put vidoes on my blog because it was pretty dang cute!! If I ever figure it out I'll post it! We are proud of you Maycee. Great Job!!
Talent Show
I'm a little behind on blogging so I'm playing catch up. Maycee was in her school talent show this year. Her and her friend Reilly made-up a dance to High School Musical "I Want It All". It was so cute. I might be a little biased, but I definately thought they were the best group dance performance. They practiced so hard and they performed it perfectly. Maycee is definately a little performer. Any chance she can get to do something in front of a bunch of people, well SIGN HER UP!!

My Birthday
O.K., so I didn't want to talk all about my birthday but I'm doing it for two reasons. First, my husband is amazing and spoiled me to death and I have to brag about him. Second, I really should write this down for Journal purposes. It was such a great day I want to remember it always. Mark surprised me with a "Birthday Agenda" that consisted of a day at the spa with a pedicure, facial, and massage. I have never done that before...IT WAS AMAZING!!! I seriously sat in a robe for 4 hours and got pampered. It was so cool. I had a permanent smile the whole day. I got out to the parking lot and called him immediately and told him I loved him about 50 times. Then I came home, showered and got ready for the day. Then he sent me shopping at one of my favorite stores Maurices with a gift certificate. When I got home we loaded the kids up and took the kids to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a sleep over while Mark and I went to dinner and had a night with no kids. We didn't know what to do with ourselves. But don't feel sad for us we improvised :). The next morning we went golfing with some friends. The weather was windy and rainy, but who cared!! We stopped and ate lunch after 9 holes and then the weather got really warm and nice. We golfed the back nine and had so much fun just being together!! Then we came back to the condo had a barbecue and swam. Is that the most amazing birthday ever or what!!! My husband and kids are so sweet and thoughtful. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for making it so our kids didn't even miss us. Mark said I needed a break...he didn't have to twist my arm. I love being a mom and all the craziness that comes with it, but it sure is nice to have a carefree day like that and not think about a thing except what color you want your toenails. Happy Birthday to me!! I couldn't believe how spoiled I was. Thanks everybody for all the sweet phone calls. It was such a special day!

Easter Morning
The kids were ssooo excited for Easter. When they woke up the Easter Bunny had left clues and sent them on a scavenger hunt to find their baskets. He also spoiled them with some blow up swimming pools to spend the Summer in. Haylee was so cute she said, "Now we have a pool like Marty's!!" (Our next door neighbor has been building an amazing pool in their backyard). I said ya, ours is ALMOST as cool as Marty's!! It was so funny. They ate candy and chocolate all morning and Kynlee was SO awful in church!! But hey, what did we expect loading her up on candy like that? It was such a fun morning. It's mornings like this that you wish time could stand still!! I gave them each a little picture of Jesus and talked about what Easter was really about. Braxton was cute, he brought his picture to church in his shirt pocket and kept looking at it all through Sacrament Meeting. Such precious little kids!! We love them so much!!
Weekend with Bailey
We got to have our niece Bailey spend the weekend with us and had such a great time. She is so cute with our kids and we just love her so much. I stayed up late with her one night watching a bunch of American Idol clips, laughing and having fun. Our kids can't get enough of her and even Beau liked her. What a sweetheart she is. We found this great park that we had a blast at. It has so many weird little futuristic looking things. Our kids loved it!!
