Our Lake Powell trip was probably our best trip ever. Grandma and Grandpa were able to come with us for half of the week. Our kids love them so much. We spent the days fishing, roasting marshmallows over the campfire, swimming, and a little bit of skiing. Mark and I are getting old, we don't ski near as much as we used too!! We had the funnest time playing baseball with the kids. Maycee caught 4 fish the first night, lucky little girl. All of the kids caught a fish, and even Grandma got in on the action. I wish I could post the video of the screaming while she was reeling it in. It was awesome!!
For Braxton's birthday we went into the Marina and got ice cream. It was so fun to celebrate his birthday at the Lake. The second half of the week our friends came and spent a few days. We love Greg and Torrey and had such a great time with them. Their girls are so dang cute and get along so well with our kids. They loved hanging on the beach and playing in the sand. We built them a little pool on the beach with an island. Greg even rigged it so that it had a waterfall at the top...it was pretty cool!! We ended up burying them in it the last day. It was a trip we will never forget. We love that place...when we are far away from work and everything else and all you have is each other!!

great trip! thanks again. we had the most phenomenal time. it's great not to shower. glad you didn't get any pics of me in my neon g-string. now that would be embarassing.
Wow, that looks like so much fun! I can't believe you and Mark only skiied a little bit, you are NOT old girl! I remember you being the best skiier. I've taken up Wakeboarding recently and am loving it, (but I'm really sore afterwards....ok maybe we are old:)

Looks like you guys had a blast! Your houseboat looks like so much fun. I didn't know there was a slide on it, how awesome! Happy birthday Braxton! Six years old, I can't believe it!
I'm jealous!!! It looks like you guys had an awesome trip. It doesn't get much better than a week relaxing at Powell. Although, a week with your little sis could prove to be a close second :) ha ha, ya right.
Tawn, It looks like you guys had a blast... though I knew that you would! You all could have fun in a brown paper bag!! Your just that kind of family!!! I love you! Cant wait to see you all in a few weeks!
Some of our best trips are from Lake Powell....I loved all your photos! I have to agree with Sheryl, your not old but.....our bodies do take more of a beating these days with the different activities we do. I did some water skiing in Powell and I was out of breath just trying to get up! Ha ha gotta love it!
