Haylee's Birthday

So to start off Haylee's 4th Birthday we went to support little Braxton at his soccer game. He had a great game and the girls had a great time cheering him on and playing on the slides with their amazing big sister Maycee.

One of Haylee's favorite places is Jumpin' Jacks. They have about 10 inflatable slides and bounce houses. The kids had a blast. I am still amazed that Haylee and McKynlee go on the huge slides by themselves without even batting an eye. They are brave little things. Bob and his family met us there along with Grandma and Grandpa. The kids loved playing with cousins and showing off for Grandma and Pa.

We finished the day with a barbecue back at the house. Mark's the barbecue master and he didn't disappoint with some great steaks! Haylee was going crazy to open her presents she thought that part would never come. She got a leapster2, a Tinkerbell dress-up and a few games. She was so excited. Grandma spoiled her with some adorable clothes that she modeled for everyone and loved every minute of it. Happy Birthday Haylee!! We love you so much. You are such a special little girl, and me and your Dad feel SSOOO lucky to have you in our family. You always make us laugh and keep us on our toes with your sassy little comments. You are such a little diva and you KNOW it!! But, that's what we love about you!!

Haylee's Haircut

O.K. so last year for Haylee's birthday she wanted her ears pierced. This year she wanted a haircut!! But not one of those trim jobs mom does in the bathroom....she wanted to go to a salon. She also didn't want a trim, she wanted her hair SHORT. So needless to say we have been putting this off for awhile since her hair goes all the way to her butt when it's wet. I trimmed her hair a few months ago to try and appease her, but she's no dummy and she kept going on and on about it. So, we took her in last Tuesday for her first official "hair cut". Josie was so cute with her and we used a little bit of trickery to show her how much hair we cut off and how short it was!! It worked and she still has plenty of hair and looks as beautiful as ever. She giggled the whole time she was getting her hair washed because it tickled. She is so dang cute!! She just kept saying, "My hair is cuter than anybody's..right mom?" Well, of course it is!!

Vegas Here We Come

It was Spring Break this week and we have some friends that got a timeshare in Vegas for the week. They asked if we wanted to come along, and after they twisted our arm we were there....ya right!! We were very happy to mooch along!! They have two little boys that our kids love to play with. They had such a great time and the weather was amazing. It was in the 70's and 80's the whole time. We hung out at the pool a lot and we went bowling. It was so much fun. I've never been to a bowling alley where they have such little shoes for all the kids. They looked so dang cute!! The kids bowled on one lane with the bumpers and most of them actually beat me the first game (sad). What can I say bowling isn't my forte. Anyway, it was such a fun time to just get away and enjoy each other!!

Spring Break

Well, we had the greatest Spring Break. After our fun time in Vegas we came home and Mike and Lynndee and their kids spent a few days with us. When I told our kids they started screaming they were so excited. They were so cute all weekend. We laughed at Britain and McKynlee because they are SSOOO much alike. Stubborn and ridiculous all wrapped up into a cute little package!! The weather was pretty good so that we could have a picnic outside, play at the park, play some serious Rock Band and just hang out. We love them so much and they were the icing on the cake for a great Spring Break.

Never a Dull Moment

I love our kids. They are always good for a laugh. Maycee had Dr. Suess week a few weeks ago and got to dress wacky and crazy. She loved it!! Kynlee is always making us laugh...she looks like a little ragamuffin half the time. Braxton and Haylee are always cracking us up too, they just didn't happen to do anything crazy the past few weeks (but we forgive them lol). I don't know how we managed to keep sunglasses on Beau long enough for a picture, but we did. He is definately learning patience. If it's not trying to brush him with My Little Pony Brushes it's putting purses around his neck. He is a great addition to the family!!

Valentines Day

Posted by Picasa
The kids looked so cute in their Valentines shirts I couldn't pass up a picture. They all had fun Valentine parties at their schools on Friday. We just hung out, rode bikes, saw a couple of great episodes of Man vs. Wild (one of our favorite shows) and made cookies. It was a fun day!!

Maycee's Baptism

What an amazing day it was!! We couldn't have planned a more perfect day. We had so many family and friends that came to support Maycee in her decision to be baptized. She is so mature for her age and has such a tender heart. We went to the church at 5:00 p.m. where they had a really neat program. After she was confirmed she sang "When I Am Baptized" and did such a great job. We are so proud of her and feel so lucky to be her parents. What a neat day Maycee we love you so much!!
